The San Bernardino Mountains - a perfect place for learning!
Throughout their week, students will get a chance to explore one of the most breathtaking areas the state of California has to offer — the San Bernardino National Forest. The forest is home to hundreds of animal species and thousands of plant species. Over 30 of these species are listed as threatened or endangered. The camp’s location at just under 5000’ elevation allows for daytime mountain vistas through the trees, and clear night skies with incredible stargazing opportunities. Students will also get a chance to see the recent effects of the bark beetle close-up and learn about natural resource conservation and responsible forest management.
